K so i am super pumped to have found this podcast! I love to dive and I hope to be back in the water this summer. But having 3 boys and being a single parent makes that a little difficult. But this gets me excited again and I am actually learning some great new updates from the dive master.

Webquests Are KILLING ME!

Okay so in case any of you were wondering... it is hard to be the retard! Doing this assignment is kicking my trash! I struggle because I am just not sure how to do this. I went to class today though and now I feel a lot better about it so I guess tonight will not be spent putting together my stuff for the scrapbook expo. It will be spent doing a better webquest than the one I put together on powerpoint last night. BOO!

Maps!

K so I used Mapquest all the time to find my way around out east. Not too much here in the west because I grew up out here and know my way around a lot better. But I got to find and use a lot of fun places to see on the East coast. I also have been looking at rome lately because I am going there this summer!

Brochures

K so I had to do the brochure at my mom's house cause my computer is soooo retarded lately! So after I finally got the thing downloaded (cause she has an older version of word) I actually had a pretty easy time doing it. I didn't mind it and I think it could be fun sometimes to make these for classes. I think it would be a little interesting to get the kids involved with this. So not too bad.

Photosharing

I first learned how to photoshare when I lived in North Carolina. I have since become a huge fan! It has helped me to "show off" my family to my friends across states. I also love how user freindly the different sites are and how easy is is to upload and order prints from the sites. And I don't have to stand at the kiosk in COSTCO and nag at my kids for an hour while I scan through photos to order. Yeah for time savers!!! I also order books and calendars from these sites and they are like the fastest, easiest, put some time and love into it, Christmas gifts! LOVE ITTT!

bookmarking

K so I subscribed to this Delicious.com site and posted the link. I chose these bookmarks because they are things I am interested in. It is basically the same idea as putting site in your "favorites" on your own computer. But this just takes it a step further and lets me share my "favorites" with the people who read my blog! Good stuff huh! Man I am sure learnin' bushels for a old person!

Level 1!

This one time I was talking to my friend about the "all about me" assignment and she laughed and said that her 1st grader was doing the exact same thing!!! Yeah so far now I am on the level of a first grader! Makes me feel soo good about myself!

Photosharing!

So today in class I signed up to talk about photosharing in class! I know a little bit about this because I have 3 boys and uploading pictures to the internes is soooo much easier than standing at the kiosk for an hour picking which pictures to print! So I upload them and order prints online! This is also an excellent way for me to let those I love but am not in the same state as, see my kids and family stuff! I have a lot of military friends and we are always in different parts of the world, but this way we can see what the other is up to! Photosharing is awesome!

Class on Thursday

So class on Thursday was a little all over the place it seemed. But some of us got into the wimba room okay and were able to 'keep up' a little. I still am not sure if I signed up for one of the things okay. I guess we shall see huh. I also cannot seem to figure out my webcam. Not too surprising as I am soo not into stuff like that. So I will have to call in my friends to help me figure out what the deal is there. Well... onwards and upwards huh! I'm off to see if I can't make my blog alittle bit more fun!
